The way ForestLog handles images could be a little bit different then you are used to. As soon as you select an image or take a photo, it checks if you have an internet connection and starts uploading it to the cloud. This way you don't have to wait until the image is uploaded but you can continue editing the forest or saving it and returning to the previous screen. If the upload fails, you will receive a message telling you that it has failed. The reason we took this approach is because our app needs to be able to function without a (good) internet connection. If you have slow internet and you see a bar creeping towards the end, you'll feel frustrated and want to wait till it's finished. With this approach, you don't have to. The upload will stop when you place ForestLog in the background and it will resume the uploads(and downloads) again when you start ForestLog.

If you decide to not use the image you selected, for instance because you prefer your old one or just don't want an image, the upload is cancelled and/or the image is deleted from the cloud.

If you are abroad and roaming, think about whether or not ForestLog may access the internet at all. If you deny access, ForestLog will save all alterations locally and commit them to the cloud once you are back online again.
